about what Toastmasters is and how it can benefit them.

Swakopmund meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at
Hotel Europa Hof on Bismarck Street and meetings start at 18:45 to 21:00.

What
can I expect.
- A diverse and interesting group of people who come together to grow their speaking and leadership qualities in a safe and secure environment.
- Prepared speeches by members tailored to help develop their oratory skills.
- Constructive evaluations from other members.
- Some impromptu speaking (this is called Table Topics).
- Parliamentary procedure aimed at developing formal language and discipline.
What
do I do when I get there?
- When you enter the hotel you’ll be greeted by our Sergeant-At-Arms and shown to your seat.
- All guests are seated next to an experienced Toastmaster who’ll gladly answer any questions you might have during the networking break.
- Guests and members alike sign the attendance register and you’ll be given a name badge before the meeting begins.
- Sit back and enjoy.
